dream walking permissions
D R E A M E R
In Solas' world, Thedas, he is what is known as a somniari, or Dreamer. Basically, this means he is a powerful lucid dreamer, and able to bend and control the Fade - or the land of dreams - to his will. Solas is extraordinarily skilled at this, and manages to do it safely; a skill beyond most Dreamers, since it is far too easy for them to attract demons who seek to possess them. Solas primarily uses this skill to walk through the different realms of the Fade, mostly to watch what spirits act out in memory of things that happen in the waking world. He has purposely gone to ruins to watch the history and lost memories come to life again, and learn what most people could only dream of ever seeing. But, due to his power, Solas is able to walk into other people's dreams, see what happens during them or even afterwards, and even control and shape those dreams if he so chooses to. This power understandably brings a sense of fear to many who know of Dreamers and their abilities, as they could potentially kill or gravely harm someone in their sleep by altering their dreams. Solas does not seem particularly interested in this, mostly using his skills to navigate and explore, but the potential still remains. If your character would not like Solas to have access to their dreams, be it due to personal preference or conflicting abilities, please post here! Solas is polite enough to leave well enough alone, and will not bring up what happens in most dreams unless he 1) finds it interesting or 2) fears for the dreamer. If you don't want him to interact with or see your dreams at all, totally cool! Just let me know here so I know it's off limits. Alternatively: would you like this strange, eggy man to visit your character in their dreams? Have an idea for a dream plot? Want him to get them out of nightmare land, or shape their dreams for some reason? Scare the absolute willies out of them? Let me know here! I'd love to have him use his dream walking powers. |

The potential different part that Solas might encounter in his dreams is that he might end up confronted if he comes into them - not by Sinbad himself (at least not consciously) but Sinbad has attained the power of 7 djinn in his world and they've sworn themselves to him and his cause. In his world Djinn basically have the power of deities or Flemeth-like levels of power/mischief/knowledge. So they might approach him should he wander in, either in their natural forms, or how Sinbad appears when he is actively channeling their power through himself. They'd probably be as equally curious of Solas in return, honestly.
But if this is something you'd be interested in, let me know!

i'm totally okay with dream-visiting! something that might be cool is having solas see kirei's dreams of his past memories of life with his wife and daughter—anything concerning his wife in particular can be really traumatic for him. something that's important to note (i will be putting up info about this on his journal, too!) is kirei is a walking trigger warning, though, so i'd want to check in with you about preferences and such before we thread just so everything stays comfy!

Pandora - Permissions.
2. She commonly has nightmares about the night her mother was killed and she was kidnapped. She also has dreams about when she was just a spirit (though she doesn't remember it as such), and dreams processing other people's thoughts and memories.

Canonly, Syeira doesn't dream in the normal way. Since being on her own, she began having dreams that were extremely vivid and real. Often they were dark and violent, and a voice would speak to her, which she would be able to still hear the echo of when she woke up. This was the Taint within her blood, the Essence of Bhaal, her father. And it is trying to corrupt her.
As of her current canon, Bhaal's presence has escalated to physical manifestations in her dreams, rather than just a disembodied voice. It's violent and cruel, and will take on shapes just to manipulate her or cause her emotional distress. Or both.
Also canonly, the Taint really doesn't like to be poked at. A Fortune Teller once tried to read her, and she was assailed by horrible visions, which she would not describe, but it left her weak and unable to read others for a while after.
I don't think Solas would have as much trouble as the average fortune teller, with how powerful he is. I think his abilities would remain the same within her dreams, as well. He'd just have something equally as aware of his presence.
